My name is Anne.  I am super thrilled about being a mommy in a few weeks!  No other little girl in the world will be more adored than ours.  We will teach her about what's right and wrong, how to be a generous, unselfish and loving person, and how to enjoy every moment in life.

I used to work in television but always hated having a corporate job.  One day, after a particularly long Atlanta commute, I decided I'd had enough. 

I moved back to my hometown, Auburn, Alabama and opened my dream store with my mom and sister. 

All of our work paid off... the result was a magically beautiful store.  I never imagined how satisfying it is when you do what you love.   

It was a perfect blend of kitchenware boutique and restaurant.  

Chow Bella carried kitchen supplies and small appliances, table linens, dishes, and gourmet foods.  We hosted special events: bridal showers, baby showers, birthday parties, luncheons.  We did cooking classes for children.  

Rendezvous Cafe served breakfast and lunch- all fresh, homemade ingredients, in a beautiful neighborhood-style cafe. 

 

We had a great group of employees that worked really hard.  

We had quite the local following- many of our regular customers made us a part of their routine.  Our store was even featured in East Alabama Living!

The "sad" part (that has a happy ending) is that I met Tim the same week we secured the location for our business.  Seriously- it was the same week.  Six months later, Tim and I found out we would be leaving the Auburn area for Fort Knox, KY.  Combine this with our current economic crisis... and sadly, Chow Bella bit the dust. 

But I will always have great memories of our fabulous store... and someday- who knows- maybe I will *attempt* starting a business again :)

So now I spend my days cooking and cleaning- being a wife and soon-to-be mommy.

We try to cook at home as much as we can.  Tim likes to grill, and I'm pretty good at everything else- so we make a good team!

We go to the beach every chance we get- Orange Beach, AL is the BEST!  Madeline already has a swimsuit and sunglasses.
